Public Concern at Work is an independent charity which receives no grant-in-aid from Government. We have been self-funding since 2004. The income we receive comes from (a) the subscriptions enlightened employers take to promote our support to their people and (b) fees from the consultancy and training we provide to business, governments and other organisations.
By contrast, in our first ten years, we depended on the support of individuals, charitable trusts, companies and unions to operate. We record our continuing gratitude to all those whose support allowed the charity to launch and develop.
HOW WE FUND OURSELVES TODAY
Since 2004, the charity has funded all its own activities from the income raised through its advice line subscriptions and business support, training and consultancy. This is a fortunate and unique position to be in and one which we hope to build on while preserving our independence and integrity. We would not be in this position but for the support of the many charitable foundations and individuals who backed us in the early days. To them and those we work with today, we say thank you. However we know many individuals do not know about us when they need our advice the most. There is much work to be done to ensure all UK workers know of the support available. To achieve this we will continue to need more support.
If you like what we do but think we should do more at home or abroad, then please make a donation. For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or make a donation online through BT MyDonate or Text Giving.
