New Legal Head of Services

21st February 2017

Public Concern at Work has appointed employment lawyer Roger Easy as its new Head of Legal Services.

Chief Executive Cathy James said; “We are delighted to have recruited Roger, an experienced employment lawyer who has worked in private practice as well as several local authority legal departments and in-house at a large insurer, but keen to move into the third sector and support those that speak up in the workplace and vulnerable clients.’’

Mr Easy, who has previously worked with Thompson Solicitors, will be providing advice and legal input to clients, supervising one trainee solicitor and assisting the charity’s legal advisers with their case-loads.

Mr Easy said, ''I am excited by this opportunity to join Public Concern at Work, a unique charity dedicated to the protection of workers who raise wrongdoing by their employers in the UK. Providing practical advice and support to workers acting in the public interest when reporting wrongdoing by their employers is one of many important services that the charity provides.

"I am looking forward to applying the experience I have gained from advising both workers and employers in my career in this new role.''
